This Miami Art Week, we’re teaming up with The Shelborne By Proper to bring Mexico City’s beloved Casa Bosques bookshop to South Beach— featuring a curated selection of international titles spanning art, design, and travel. Plus an exclusive first look at Designed to Stay, The Design Hotels Book ahead of its U.S. release in January 2026.
Throughout December, The Shelborne By Proper’s local-favorite café will transform into a pop-up Casa Bosques, offering books, bites, and signature Casa Bosques creations on the menu.
From December 3–7, we’ll host a series of readings and conversations, featuring inspiring minds from our global communities.
On December 3 at 9am, join us for a conversation between editor Dan Howarth, and architect and designer Eleni Petaloti, that expands on her essay “The Static Performance,” featured in Designed to Stay, The Design Hotels Book. Together, they will explore how design can move beyond form and function to evoke emotion, memory, and presence.
On December 4 at 10am, Dan Howarth will be joined by Moisés Micha, co-founder of Grupo Habita, and Abaseh Mirvali for a conversation on how living with art transforms the spaces we inhabit and share. The talk will dive into his recent publication Vicky & Marcos Micha Levy: Inhabiting Art, documenting the legacy of Micha’s parents’ profound art collection.
On December 3 and 4, you’re also invited to stop by the desk of poet in residence, Mia Moretti, for a custom poem.
