The hotel holds Three Michelin Keys, the highest rating awarded as part of Michelin’s first-ever list of “outstanding” hotels in the US.

The popular Crosby Bar has high ceilings, a long pewter bar, and tall warehouse-style windows that look out to the garden on Lafayette Street.

Crosby Street Hotel is set on a quiet cobbled street in the heart of New York’s vibrant SoHo neighborhood.

Location
Once a rather rough manufacturing zone, SoHo is now a place where celebrated brands such as Prada and Chanel mix with the design shops of those who aspire to such greatness. And its all beautifully situated in a Manhattan quarter that showcases cast-iron industrial facades, to-die-for loft apartments, and world-class eateries. The art scene may not be what it once was here, but few places in New York present the visibly cool lifestyle of the successful artist better.

Architecture From parking lot to a SoHo loft
Floor-to-ceiling warehouse windows nod to the iconic SoHo loft look, while sustainable materials and energy-efficient technology make Crosby Street Hotel one of the most environmentally responsible hotels in the entire U.S., hence their Gold LEEDS (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certification by the U.S. Green Building Council.
Interior design Kit Kemp
No surprise, then, that the centerpiece of the Crosby Street Hotel lobby is a stunning work by Scottish paper cutout artist Jack Milroy. To create the hotel’s singular look, Kemp also collaborated with such top British designers as Christopher Farr Cloth and Andrew Martin. But don’t expect a transatlantic transport of Kemp’s original English style; the Crosby Street Hotel achieves an American flair without abandoning its British roots via Kemp’s collaborations with local designers and artisans.

Art & Culture Kemp’s touch
Statement pieces from Kemp’s own art collection feature throughout the property, including such works as Fernando Botero’s 12-foot cat sculpture, a painting by Anselm Kiefer, and sculptural dogs by Justine Smith.
