The interiors are a celebration of leaded windows, stained glass, succulent plantings, and vintage Turkish rugs, with statement pieces including a monolithic grandfather clock and works by local ceramicist Rick Van Dyke. Towering over the Seaholm District, the hotel embraces Austin’s eclecticism with Japanese “shou-sugi-ban” wooden slats...

and graphite gray metals. The 32-story highrise is a newly constructed addition to the Austin skyline, with a bold form that sets the stage for interplay between precast concrete and delicate ribbons of glass. The ground floor restaurant features metal panels in graphite gray, and flow from inside to out, blending the hotel’s communal spaces with the city.
