A connection to the past is celebrated by the hotel’s entrance space, which, through a glorious courtyard, brings the outside world of plants inside. Large arches and windows on the hotel’s facade visually guide one into the lobby, where a casual seating area, awash with a variety of plants, green tones, and playful patterns, references the interiors of London’s tube stations. Throughout the building, deep window bays allow you to take in the London scene. Newly installed fireplaces, meanwhile, create cozy areas to lounge.

With a design scheme boasting strong graphic patterns, handwoven textiles, and a soothing color palette, Sir Devonshire Square Hotel London taps into its creative roots. Here, East London’s 1970’s textile industry is subtly referenced throughout, while timber louvres bring softness to an industrial glasshouse that houses the ground-floor bar and creates a delicate light.
