Ham Yard has an urban village feel. The hotel boasts Kit Kemp's award-winning style and a tree-filled garden with a bronze sculpture by Tony Cragg.

Bowling balls, vintage bowling shoes, and bowling pin lamps sit alongside two large scale Howard Hodgkin artworks in the hotel's 1950s bowling alley.

Ham Yard Restaurant & Bar is a modern European eatery in the heart of the West End, holding two prestigious AA rosettes.

Architecture Soho vision
Using the distinctive local landscape of Soho as a reference, the hotel’s architects constructed a building complementary to the scale of those in the area, while bringing a fresh contemporary touch to one of London’s key leisure and entertainment districts. In the courtyard, a commanding bronze sculpture by British artist Tony Cragg takes center stage. This is Firmdale’s third build from the ground up, having mainly restored or reconstructed buildings previously.
Interior design Kit Kemp
and the trims used on soft furnishings—it can be the smallest thing that captures the imagination in a room,” says Kemp, offering an insight into her magic. The new suites feature Kit’s own designed fabric collection with Christopher Farr. The floor-to-ceiling Crittal windows allow plenty of natural light, highlighting the striking furnishings and Kemp’s eclectic collection of art, which includes standout pieces by such influential artists as Hermione Skye, Eileen Cooper, and Humans Since 1982.
