Architecture Theo Hotz, Theo Hotz Partner Architekten Zürich
Embracing conservational challenges, the architects transformed the hotel’s columns, which couldn’t be removed, repainted, or covered, into beautiful tree-like structures using greenery and lighting. Throughout the hotel, unconventional shapes and a playful blend of materials, including stone, wood, ceramic tiles, and glass bricks, create an inspiring yet relaxing atmosphere. Small apartments are also available for longer stays and families.
Interior design Erik Nissen Johansen—Stylt Trampoli
Through layered materials and a bold combination of colors and patterns a la the Dada period, the designer has created dynamic yet fully harmonious spaces. Here, you will discover eclectic wallpaper with graphical effects alongside custom-designed sofas draped in rich copper-colored velvet. Original pieces, areas of toned-down hues, and existing window niches covered with a warm walnut veneer add a comforting stability to the bold vibrancy.
Food & Drink French forward
Fusing gourmet offerings with rustic delights, this elegant eatery transforms the everyday into something succulent and truly unexpected. The popular raw bar is not to be missed.
Food & Drink Above the bar
No two evenings are alike at the Home bar, which is perfect for a romantic drink or as a meet-and-mix lounge—a “mini club” where locals and guests come together for drinks, live DJs, comedy nights, and come what may.
