Architecture Diener & Diener

Made from concrete, black marble, and granite, this contemporary structure is an architectural anomaly in the Old Town.

The building features a passage that connects two streets, as well as a statement staircase that unites all six floors. A sky-high bar overlooks the city, while many guestrooms offer terraces, and the lobby absorbs the bustle of the Steinenvorstadt outside through large windows framed by oak wood.

Interior design Andrea Caputo, Salomé Fäh

Gallery space throughout the hotel showcases young talent, with a focus on street art.

The interior is a work of art itself with natural woods, stone, marble, and furnishings by Vitra, Abacus, Artek, Santa & Cole, KNS, Living Divani, and more. A Japanese touch is subtly present, as are mementos from designer Salomé Fäh’s worldly adventures.
