Interior design Wingårdhs
Raw and rough, refined and smooth, the interior designers at Wingårdhs harmoniously blend contrasting emotions through beautiful beige-white earth tones that are framed by historical stones and wood-beam ceilings.
Natural and sustainable materials, such as wood, stone, wool, and leather are at the heart of the design, with handpicked, custom-made furniture, textiles, and carpets setting a luxurious tone. While the guestrooms present a soft and restrained color scheme, the public areas capture the fancy of the hotel’s vibrant city setting with vivid and eclectic hues and patterns. One-of-a-kind artwork, designer lighting, and high-quality bespoke furniture by internationally established and local studios alike add an inspiring sense of contemporaneity.
Architecture Jordi Herrero Arquitectos and Eduardo Garcia Acuna Arquitectos
Originally constructed as a palace during the Islamic medieval era of the Balearic Islands, the 12th-century building that houses Nobis Hotel Palma is one of the city’s oldest.
A fully renovated gem from the 1100s, the building that houses Nobis Hotel Palma is a series of historical layers that have been carefully peeled away by Jordi Herrero Arquitectos and Eduardo Garcia Acuna Arquitectos to both celebrate the past and to let the building “breathe.” Here, the ancient merges with the present through the building’s original elements, such as old stone, brick walls, vaulted ceilings, and imposing archways, all carefully restored and highlighted, while a rooftop terrace offers stunning panoramic views of the city.
