Throughout its design and construction, Villa Sahrai seeks to transcribe Casablanca’s identity by paying homage to its crafts, with earth tones and wood taking center stage.

The design of Villa Sahrai draws deeply from its setting on the Corniche d’Aïn Diab, where the Atlantic meets the city’s modern pulse. Natural light, coastal hues (terracotta, sand, ocean blue), and lush local flora have been integrated to echo the shoreline’s raw beauty. Rooms reflect the local identity and feature warm tones like terracotta and natural materials, Rosso Levanto marble, and plaster. A key highlight is the bespoke artwork of Aurore de la Morinerie, whose pieces bring the subtle narratives of the city’s textures, light, and culture directly into the guest experience.

Architecture Christophe Pillet

French visionary Christophe Pillet has created a distinct look influenced by Art Deco, Tadao Ando’s sculptural purity, and Gio Ponti’s geometric warmth.

A sensorial sanctuary where design, culture, and light converge, the hotel masterfully uses such materials as walnut, plaster, raw stone, and metal—each chosen for its timeless, tactile quality—to capture the spirit of Casablanca’s architectural heritage, particularly the modernist villas of the Anfa district. Generous terraces and open-plan flows combine to create a new architectural icon that feels timeless, deeply local, and emotionally resonant—blending structure, softness, and the rhythm of Casablanca itself.
