Lo Sereno uses many elements of Mexican craftsmanship in its construction, as well as an abundance of local materials.
In order to ensure cross-ventilation in the rooms, the team decided to use an ancient design for its doors. Hence quaint wooden sliding doors, instead of glass, lead out to spacious terraces. The 10 rooms share a beachfront common space with a restaurant, bar, and glittering infinity pool.

Handmade textiles, furniture featuring typical Mexican design, and a clean, tropical-rustic flare appeal to travelers from all around the world.
In the rooms, handcrafted pieces from the Guadalajara area and other parts of Mexico make up the contemporary local aesthetic such as the “palapa” (woven palm leaves) art pieces. The stunning minimalistic bathrooms feature only three materials: glass, concrete, and wood. Striking mint blue chairs in the restaurant contrast teakwood tables.
