Casa Habita’s interior was conceived by the renowned Milanese firm Dimorestudio...
who combine classical European design with the colorful aesthetics of Mexico, punctuated by intense hues of burgundy, salmon, and artichoke. Objects created by historical design masters share space with reclaimed materials and bespoke pieces—such as the green wicker chairs on the patio, which were inspired by traditional Mexican “equipales”—creating a timeless feel.
Architecture Estudio5
Marble, wood, and artisanal cement tiles combine to stunning effect in this integrated dual structure.
In designing Casa Habita, the Mexican architectural firm Estudio5 set out to seamlessly integrate a newly constructed tower space with an early 20th-century residence, which now houses a library, restaurant, and upper-level pool and bar area. Respecting the original façade, Estudio5 used concrete, steel, and drywall, and finishes of iron, marble, wood, brass, and multiple varieties of glass.
