Artwork abounds, with rooms featuring handmade pieces, fixtures by Buster and Punch, and lighting by Bert Frank.

Artwork throughout includes a standout piece by Italian sculptor Willy Verginer, a canvas by American painter Drew Merritt, a custom mural by L.A.-based Cyrcle, a work by Roman-born Alice Pasquini, and numerous creations by street artist Warios 1. The guestrooms boast bespoke furniture from Italian artisans. Cool metal furnishings also contrast with warm wooden floors to stunning effect.

Architecture Raw Power

Tall interior arches, vaulted ceilings, and other original 19th-century architectural elements contrast raw steel...

copper, and touches of the contemporary. Inside a brick building that dates back to 1880, Chapter Roma is a neoclassical spectacle in the heart of Rome’s historical center. Due to the fact that the building is listed with the City of Rome, many of its original architectural features still stand, including vaulted ceilings in the basement and four-meter-high arches of exposed brick.

Art in Focus Inspiring

Artwork throughout the hotel include a standout piece named “Where has the Stockbroker Gone?” by Italian sculptor...

Willy Verginer, a canvas by American painter Drew Merritt, a mural by L.A.-based Cyrcle, work by Roman-born Alice Pasquini, and numerous creations by street artist Warios 1. An abundance of art in the hotel's public spaces and in nearby galleries mean the guestrooms have been kept art-free, while bespoke furniture from Italian artisans and Studio A Johannesburg are found throughout the property.
