Crafted with local, easy to find and replace wood, bamboo, and rocks, the villas are a modern take on the traditional Lombok Lumbung-style house.
An open-living upstairs area and a spacious dining level on the sand below define the aesthetically modern villas, which the architects have turned into showpieces for the unification of locality and modernity. With a very private feel, a lot of shadow play, teak wood interiors, iron wood outdoor decking, and striking facades built from a wood popular among local boat builders, the villas reflect the traditional values of Lombok yet provide a stunning contemporary allure.

A modern reflection of traditional values, the interiors are sleek, understated, and defined by natural materials and colors.
The furniture in the villas was conceived by local designers and produced using natural materials, such as teak and rattan. Dining tables and kitchen counters are constructed of handmade, locally sourced materials and polished concrete. The bathrooms are notable for the beautiful terrazzo used to craft the walls, floors, and sink. Inside Anakampung restaurant, the walls are decorated with the work of Indonesian artists.
