Architecture Jean-Philippe Nuel
A towering homage to modernity, Le Cinq Codet’s 1930s building deploys its personality in the neighborhood like a vessel...
with soft curves and large double-height windows shaping its façade. Pale oak wood connects extraordinary volumes: mezzanines, loggias, whirlpool baths, sunken baths, curving banquettes, portholes, sliding doors, and picture windows. The hotel is bathed in light with spectacular private terraces on the top floor inviting guests to commune with the dome of Les Invalides and the Eiffel Tower.
Interior design Jean-Philippe Nuel
Agence Nuel has designed furniture in collaboration with design icons Elisabeth Garouste, Tom Dixon, and Patricia Urquiola.
Materials stand out due to their contradictory pairings, such as oak and glass or leather and steel. The result is a world tinged with masculine chic and rationalist charm.
