A coterie of local and international artists has transformed the interiors of the hotel into an artistic hub.
Maintaining the warehouse’s original structure, the hotel presents concrete facades, steel furniture, and heavy-duty fixtures that complete the industrial look. Playful graphic design in the form of bold fonts and messaging as well as bursts of vibrant color bring the public spaces alive. Graffiti artwork fills the corridors, encapsulating the industrial transition Hong Kong has experienced.
Architecture Paul Kember
The structure’s industrial character is reinforced by exposed steel water pipes and foil-clad air conditioning ducts.
In addition to a concrete exterior, this one-time warehouse is home to an abundance of industrial elements, including a reception desk comprised of machinery parts. The industrial edge of the architecture is offset by bright colors and soft lines. Highlighting the hotel's majestic setting, an expansive terrace, enhanced with cutting-edge graphic motifs by local artists, offers up endless views.
