From rate loading, to checking a hotel's visibility across key sales channels, you'll learn how different systems work together — including the hotel’s own booking engine, the GDS system used by travel agencies, our connection to Marriott and its systems, and a range of OTAs like Booking.com, Expedia, Agoda, and Tablet. You’ll also see how smart distribution drives hotel visibility, occupancy, and ultimately revenue growth.
As part of our team, you'll also see how Design Hotels and our department particularly acts as the bridge between our privately owned hotels and the global Marriott network — helping them maintain their unique identity while making the most of the reach, tools, and visibility that come with the partnership. Our work ensures each hotel is well-positioned across channels, maximizing both reach and commercial performance.
Far from being purely technical, this role also involves strong communication and collaboration skills. You’ll work closely with teams across Commercial Strategy, Digital Marketing, Sales and Reservations within Design Hotels, and liaise directly with Revenue, E-Commerce, Sales, and General Managers at our member hotels — ensuring everything runs smoothly from backend to booking.
